Involved in DCF
Support & Stabalization
Valuing Our Children's Support and Stabilization program supports families involved in the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Families will work with a Family Support Worker who will visit with the family weekly to help in reaching the goals outlined on their Service Plans with DCF.
Kinship
Support
Our Kinship Support Program is for families who are caring for a grandchild, niece, nephew, etc.. whose family is involved in DCF. A Family Support Worker will visit with the caretakers and the whole family to offer support and help navigate other needs, supports, and services.
Family
Advocate
Valuing Our Children's Family Advocate works with DCF involved families when a family is struggling with their services. The advocate can work as a navigator or bridge between DCF and the family, and can support the family during meetings, visits, and court proceedings.
